The Obama Administration today released a business tax reform plan that is hardly worthy of the name. It raises taxes on employers by hundreds of billions of $

The tax on worldwide income is a big loser. It will simply drive companies to reincorporate off-shore.
You can’t tax a company that is incorporated in a foreign country on its foreign income, only on company it earns in the US.
Some companies, like Emerson Electric, have reincorporated off-shore to avoid the issues of trapped overseas wealth and now, the proposed worldwide taxation.
I might add that the US is the only government greedy (and/or needy) enough to tax its citizens who are living outside the US on their income.

Tax reform doesn’t necessarily mean lower taxes. It means you and I are gonna get screwed somewhere down the line.

I used to think that Obama was just stupid when it came to economics. Now...not so much. He's simply out to destroy the US economy and, hence, its people. Yet, there are enough really stupid people out there who will vote for him because they still believe in a free lunch. This is not good...
