I don't know if it's a hoax or not, but it smells funny. Destinie doesn't have her picture in the school paper, so how would the assailants know what she looked like? Well, according to other articles, Destinie was wearing a sweatshirt with the name of the school newspaper on it. A young couple approaches her in a parking lot. The man apparently sees the sweatshirt, and asks if she works for the school paper. She says yes. He then asks if she wrote the gay marriage article. She says yes. The woman then punches her. A bit contrived, but certainly possible. By the way, here's the

By the way, here's the editorial You'll see she doesn't have much of a future in journalism- or any kind of writing, for that matter. It's even worse than I imagined it would be. It reads like the random thoughts of an eight year old.
And the comments are no better. They all think and write like little children.
We are doomed if this is the level of intellect at our colleges.
