That’s right Libertarians would be against the argument that ONLY those who served can have freedom to certain political positions. Don’t think the Founding Fathers wanted it that way too.

Your second part is absolute rubbish! Libertarians are about freedom of political belief as you even confirmed. They also believe in the defending ourselves when attacked.

However, Libertarians do not believe in launching wars. If there is a National Security threat, then that is why we have the CIA, NSA, DIA, etc... to handle it. Sending troops is a different animal. The Founding Fathers understood this concept well and that is why they did not believe in being the policeman of the world.
