For a minute there, I thought I had a virus or something and was redirected to Democratic Underground reading some of the replies here.

Santorum is a practicing Catholic. He is simply saying that he and his wife agree with, and practice his religion regarding this matter.

Thought only brain dead liberals would make the leap to assume that as President, Santorum would ban contraception. Amazing.

I thought the aspirin comment was both funny and that it was a comment on how far we’ve gone off track SINCE those days. No Machiavelli agenda at all.

Remember, this isn’t about Santorum. He didn’t say anything. Some guy who runs a SuperPac was asked a question, and remembered an old joke about aspirin. As someone else has pointed out, this joke isn’t obscure or considered racy or disgusting — a doctor used it on a web site explaining that aspirin couldn’t actually prevent a pregnancy.

But because some people want Gingrich to win more than I guess they want Romney to lose, and to do that they know they have to smear Santorum, they are pretending HE said this, and attacking him for it.

It would be like attacking Newt Gingrich for the stupid things a few of his supporters say here. After all, they donated money to him, so I guess Gingrich is responsible for their statements....
