In an interview with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC Thursday, billionaire Santorum backer Foster Friess said that debates over the candidate's personal objections to contraception are overblown, adding that, in his day, "gals" used aspirin as birth control.

Why should my wife and I remain abstinent?
Who needs enemies
Right on
I’ve heard of doing this before and it’s one of the weirdest things I’ve ever heard in my life.
If me, Santorum, and the Catholic Church have our way it will not just be YOUR business. Lets not forget about the babies that the pill kills.
Abstinence....100% prevents pregnancy and STDs - works every time it is utilized...and best of all, ITS FREE.
“If the women used Bayer aspirin, what did the men use?”
The men used Tylenol and took a cold shower.
I simply don't see the hubbub over this. It's not like he said "for the first time in my adult life, I'm proud of my country because Rick's running for President."
Foster's joke was funnier than a month's work of "jokes" from Bill Maher, Margaret Cho, and Rosanne Barr combined.
I admit to a more outrageous brand of comedy, such as the late, great Sam Kinison.
Foster Fries told an old joke about contraception in the old days, saying: On this contraceptive thing, my Gosh its such [sic] inexpensive, he added. You know, back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraception. The gals put it between their knees, and it wasnt that costly.
I have heard that joke for years. But suddenly the media mavens that revel in the freedom that gives us pornography on grocery store shelves and the number one topic on the Internet; the same press that demands the free distribution of birth control pills, demonizes people that oppose homosexual marriage and those who oppose killing unborn children, has the vapors about this joke. Andrea Mitchell needs to catch her breath after being told an old joke; what is he, a nun? Even nuns have heard this one without blushing.
Has anyone watched TV or gone to a movie the last few decades? The entertainment media would not exist without sex jokes, sex acts between both animate and inanimate objects, and gratuitous nudity, and Andrea Mitchell has to catch her breath about a little joke that mentions womens knees and an aspirin tablet?
I have heard about faking it, but the Left media is jumping the shark with this one.
