As long as Spiker is viewed as being fair and doesn’t condone or orchestrate some sort of Ron Paul dominated delegation to the national convention in Tampa, there isn’t much to be concerned about.
The delegates are not elected by or appointed by Spiker. According to party rules, they may vote as they wish, and many of those who were nominated and elected as delegats are Ron Paul supporters.
