To: Dead Corpse

One of the things Id like to see is getting rid of property taxes once the property is owned, in some way. Maybe an upfront tax or something. But to pay taxes on a piece of property that you have paid off means that the government is the property owner.

No property taxes, but maintenance/service fees for “public” services like fire/police/water/sewer. Privately run, competition keeps things in line.

And yes, it’s possible to run “public” services as private companies. Check Cato and Reason for applicable articles..
