It’s called “child endangerment.”

If I have knowledge that you are in charge of a minor child in your home and you are drunk, I can call the cops, they’ll do a welfare check, and if they determine you are drunk/high they will remove the child.

For a single instance of drunkenness? I doubt it. Have any evidence?

I googled “drunk felony child endangerment.” Google is your friend. Or, watch COPS. I’ve seen in happen in more than one state. Parent/s arrested for being drunk/high with minor kids in the home.

Not legal. The children are endangered. They are taken to foster care. For reals.
