There is a big difference between morality and ethics. Our Constitution is based on ethics, yet many dissenting opinions cling to morality.

That would be a 1,000+ posts thread in it's self.

One could {rightly argue, imo} that the Constitution is based on morality, and it defines ethics...lol....no, I don't want to argue it...right now anyway.

You have a point.

Morality comes from the Latin term Mores. It is literally translated as social custom.

Ethics comes from the Greek term Ethos. It is literally translated as character.

It applies here. America now says "it is the will of the people that Mr. Obama is president". The might of the people have spoken and they have no character to respect the minority by rule of the law. We as a society have made mores the ethos. How unfortunate for us.
