I ordered Foreign Enemies and Traitors through interlibrary loan but the print was way too small for me to read, and I do not own a Kindle. If it ever comes out in large print, it will be the size of an unabridged dictionary. I guess that leaves me out. Maybe when there’s a Cliff Notes version. . .

Oh, you have got to get a Kindle! The most basic versions cost under $100, and then you will be able to download thousands of free out-of-copyright titles. And you can make the print as large as you like. Kindles are terrific: once charged, they run for weeks without needing a recharge.

Actually, you don’t have to buy a Kindle. You can download the Kindle for PC for free right from Amazon’s website. Then you can buy the Kindle versions of Matt’s books and read them right on your computer. You can adjust the font size to be as large as you want.

I highly recommend you do so—his books are fantastic!

I do not own a Kindle.

You can still read the books, in an on-line "cloud reader". All you need is an Amazon account. Later, should you get a Kindle, you can then download any books you've purchased to the Kindle. But the base Kindle is only $79 through Amazon.

For someone who has trouble with small print, a kindle is great, since you can adjust the font size to whatever you need.

"....and I do not own a Kindle."

Get one. You'll thank yourself. Current lowest cost one is $79, and you'll save that after probably a dozen books, not to mention all the stuff you can get free (Project Gutenberg). Plus, you CAN check books out of most libraries onto a Kindle.

>>>print was too small<<<

Maybe it’s a poor question (my eyes are still functional if fading) but have you ever tried those page magnifiers? A kind of sheet that you lay on the page?

I hope there’s something out there. It’s a heckuva thing to lose some of that freedom to read.
