I am trying to arm people with pertinent useful information that may keep them and their families ALIVE and safe. The vernacular is common among and is used regular by those most knowledgeable about the subject of survival. I don’t condone the language, but I do want to pass on the knowledge.

I have to ask since you know that that term regularly comes up in these threads why would you insist on exposing yourself to it if you find it so distasteful?

I go way back in survivalism, way back and was very glad to see the word prepper start getting used, because it was more mainstream and makes it easier to email articles to my friends and family who used to have a bad image of being a survivalist.

I can’t send these people articles on the “shit” movement, I don’t even want to wade through a lot of reading that has me mentally forming the words that you use.

Do we copy off this stuff and let our kids read it?

Why foul up something for no reason, why make the effort to get dirty, is this hip now?

There is no reason to go adolescent like, and left wing like in the survivalist movement.
