That’s about when I officially started actually telling people I am no longer a republican. It was actually in 1997, and after I had dumped TV for a while (and never went back to either).

Agreed. The author is a little late on the up take. He’s right, of course. However, if we throw our votes away to some third party at this most important election in our lifetimes then it may be our last election in this once great country. It’s a GOP vote or die.
