Once you slam the door in your face, they will blame you for Romney losing the election. “If only we had the support of the Tea Party we could have won”. They will conveniently omit the part where they vilified everything the Tea Party stands for and backed a Northeast liberal to carry their banner. Your position on the political spectrum will have remained consistent and steadfast while the GOP drifted to the left. But they will never admit that it was the GOP that left you, not the other way around.
Ya know, once they realize that we “cost” them this or that election, you’d think they’d quit their bitchin’ and figure out what they have to do to bring us back into the fold.
