Pavelic didn’t “die in Spain”.He was assasinated/murdered, probably by agents of Marshal Tito.

>>>>>Pavelic didn’t “die in Spain”.He was assasinated/murdered, probably by agents of Marshal Tito.<<<<< He actually did die. Pavelic fled through Vatican's ratlines and lived in Argentina under Peron's protection. An Italian General recognized him and conveyed information to Serbian antifascists and anticommunists who fled Communist regime. They hatched the plan to assassinate Pavelic. Attempt on Pavelic life on April 10, 1957 was not successful, he was only wounded. When his cover was blown by the Argentinian media, he was forced to flee to Madrid to avoid the extradition. He died there in 1959.

According to Pavelic own admission to Argentinian radio, asasination attempt had nothing to do with Tito. They were pals of sort.
