Considering who is left at this point I plan on voting for the 'other' guy anyway so why not field a Tea Party candidate. As I see it we are already in a lose-lose situation with the current list of declared candidates. With conservative candidates already knocked out of the process I no longer have a dog in this race among the current crop of so called Republicans RINO's.

In a word, YES.

It’s high time that conservatives and like minded tea party patriots moved on from the Republican party. It should be obvious to all that the solutions to reining in big government lies outside the established political parties.

It is way to early for Mitt’s coronation.
This process has opened my eyes, little by little. I, too, am sick of the “lesser of two evils” method of voting.
I am beginning to understand it is like asking “do you want to die quickly from a shot in the head, or slowly, from drinking poison?”
If the elites do manage to steal the nomination for Romney, from we, the people, I’m not falling for it this time.

Yes. Let the Tea Party field their own candidate. But, make sure he (or she) is someone who can let the mud and slurs of both the left and the RINOs roll off their back like a duck.

And, (as long as I am making out my Christmas list early here) make them someone who is a bulldog. Someone who isn’t afraid to bite back in a real way to put an end to the whimpering, whining, BS politics we see in Washington today. We need a strong leader for the next four years.

Maybe we can do a write-in campaign “None of the Above” and leave the presidency vacant for the next 4 years.

A win on Tuesday will not necessarily give him the nomination. He gets 50 delegates. That is all. He has a long way to go still.

People should still go to the polls...you do NOT have to cast a vote for President, but there is PLENTY of trash that can and should be taken out at the local and state levels...Congress can certainly use a good prune/coffee enema...

How many delegates are required to assure the nomination and how many delegates will Romney have captured to date assuming he wins Florida?

The key here is to keep Newt in the fight past Florida, regardless. It's essential that the myth be busted that the nomination process is somehow culminated with Florida, especially since they lost half their delegate count this cycle.

After last night's debacle, I would hope that Newt will focus his attention to hammering Obama's failures and offering specific solutions to fix the economy at the voter level. This is extremely important in order to capture the 46% and growing independent vote. Independents are going to vote for whoever communicates a compelling solution to getting America's economic engine working again.

Newt has allowed himself to get stuck to Romney's tar baby of Bain. He needs to emotionally let go of Romney and focus on Obama. Newt needs to speak and act as though he is already the nominee NOW.

I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP.

Oh, he likely will. Just as Nixon gave us Agnew and McCain gave us Palin, Romney, if nominated, will likely pick someone of that ilk to throw us red meat and keep us in the tent. But it will be meaningless. For all of Vice President Agnew's conservative speeches, Nixon governed as a liberal President. We got all the rhetoric, tehy got all the action.

Never stay home! Not voting for the lesser of two evils is paramount to surrender. Let’s put it another way: There’s been a home invasion and a gunfight. You’re wounded and have retreated to your bedroom but your gun is now empty. Do you accept defeat and lay down or do you try to reach for the spare magazine? I’d rather fight to the end than surrender. Buy whatever time you can, organize your resources, and then mount an offensive. No surrender, no way!

Suggested bumper sticker for Newt: Sure Newt’s an asshole, but everyone needs an asshole to eliminate waste.
