Nadin's story is BS and 'Sgt' Jay Polk is an Army SF POSEUR.
- First he is called a 'MASTER SERGEANT'.
- Then on the screen capture Jay calls himself a 'FIRST SERGEANT'
- While bother are E8's, there's HUGH difference between the two, like in your Rank Insignia.
- This is a MASTER SERGEANT:

- And this is a 'FIRST SERGEANT':

Then 'Sgt' Jay says he has 17 yrs in. Well that's not really a long tine, in 'Service Time'. And making E8 and MASTER SERGEANT is feasible, making that next step up and getting that little diamond in the middle takes a LOT more 'time in grade' as an E8. [The next step up is E9 and
SERGEANT MAJOR with a Star in lieu of a Diamond, and that's HUGH. A lot of Army BS gets in your way].
And him saying he's 'Well Decorated' and in the the Special Forces. In short - that don't happen compared to if you're a 'Leg'. Most officers can't even see your file so there's nobody to approve those 'decorations' - it's ALL friggen TOP SECRET. Plus the 'regular' Army brass hates the SF, but that's another matter.
(John Kerry prolly has more decorations than Lifers who spent most of their time (from E5 on) if the SF)
GREAT info, thanks! I knew the whole thing smelled fishy, but I don’t have a military background, so I didn’t know what to believe and what to reject.
What about Nadin’s contention that SF deaths aren’t acknowledged by the DoD for a long time? Any truth to that?
