Well it is posted by the same person who would put every negative ‘article’, rumour, leftist rant, vile accusation, against Governor Palin for 3 years. Must be moving on to Glenn Beck now I guess.
For decades, conservatives have openly yearned for a conservative network. Now there is one: GBTV.
Beck is adding shows at the moment. Shows are being tweaked, changed and some are still in conceptual phases. Beck is really only on GBTV 4 days a week, so it isn’t like he is hogging his own air.
I don’t listen to his radio show, although I find the 4th Hour quite weird and can only take a few minutes of it. I only manage about an hour all together of the Glenn Beck Show on GBTV, just because it comes at a time when I am in the middle of work, making dinner and just generally not able to sit and watch. Sometimes, I catch it on replay.
I find Glenn very interesting. He is into several projects at any one time and for the record, his books have consistently made #1. I have only bought and read one of his books, myself, The Overton Window. But the others seem to have a loyal audience.
Whatever Glenn makes from subscriptions is must be going straight back into the network. He is spending a fortune every day just keeping 2 sound stages and the necessary crew in production. He keeps adding sponsors and I see no conspiracy with Cheaper Than Dirt, for example and I am surprised is any Freeper does. Know any other network that can air gun and ammo ads?
IF he is actually making any profit, well, isn’t that what capitalism is all about? After all, he is the one taking the risk. I know times are hard and I can be guilty of envy, as well as anyone, but I really try to not give into it. I think Glenn Beck deserves whatever he is able to keep from his own labor and creativity. It is even more amazing just because he is such a controversial character.
I personally think the guy deserves more respect. Just sayin’.
