Perhaps I didn’t make my point clear, your comments back up what I meant.
[I’m sure if there was ever a real cure for cancer, it would be snuffed out like a candle ... along with the person or persons who invented it.]
That was my whole point and why I said ‘color me cynical’.

I have known 4 people who had cancer and none survived. All but 1 had a long and expensive decline till the end.
Color me cynical as well, I hate to be that way, but with all the fund raisers, research and such over the past 40+ years you would think there would be something by now.
Expecting the drug companies to do this is like expecting an energy company to come up with a viable alternate energy source.
