My thoughts are that if there were any strong conservatives actually in the race, then votes wouldn’t be siphoned from them. I blame the lack of demand from conservative voters for the weakness of the field. We are getting the government that we deserve.

It’s not a lack of demand, it’s the lack of sane Conservatives willing to be destroyed in the public square and put the heads of their family into a media meat grinder in order to actually run.
We have already seen what happens to anyone who sounds like a Conservative who dares to run.

We WANT a Conservative to run unapologetically as a Conservative. But unless they are willing to sacrifice themselves and their families - few are willing to risk personal destruction.

The ENTIRE PURPOSE of the Ruling Class shoving Mittens down our throats is to neuter the Conservatives and render them irrelevant as the government goes full blown Communist. To oppose such regimes, historically is usually death. We’re almost there ourselves.
Ron Paul has the same agenda the Marxist Left does, except he serves himself instead of the Ruling Class establishment. For him, it’s personal. Like a Democrat he hates the Republican Party AND Conservatives as much as the Marxist Democrats do. He hates what America was and is post WWII and his sycophantic Mob Zombies, part and parcel of OWS, want RP to tear it all down and remake it in “HIS” supposed “Constitutional” image.
That is why he may run 3rd party if there is any chance someone besides Romney wins.
