So you are saying that being a nice Christian is a detriment to being president?

Last I checked Obama wasn’t a Christian, so I’m not sure why you are covering for him.

Nope. But there’s more to being a good leader than just being a Christian.

All of the candidates we have are Christian (even Romney, apparently). So it’s a non-issue to me in picking between them.

According to this writer, Santorum’s Christianity and faithfulness as a family man are top reasons to vote for him. It was simply pointed out that the 2 worst presidents in our country’s history fit those criteria.

He didn’t say Obama was a Christian; he said he has a stable marriage and kids, Jimmy Carter was the one who ran as a ‘strong Christian.’ And look where THAT got us.
