From what I witnessed, the purpose of the TSA was never ti catch terrorists, but, to intimidate and terrorize the sheep.

I remember when it first begin. When a t.v. reporter would stick a camera in the face of some idiot and said idiot would say, "I don't mind is as long as it will make me secure."

"I don't mind is as long as it will make me secure."

And that's the deal, isn't it? This is classic conditioning. Remember boys & girls - the president can arrest and hold people indefinitely if their name appears on the right piece of paper. It's here and it is today.

Complaining will not rectify any TSA overreaching (no pun intended). Things should have never been allowed to get like this, but they have. Things will not improve until enough people stop flying or when a large percentage of flyers no longer allow themselves to be treated this way.

I predict within 10 yrs. the HSA/TSA will be as hated as the KGB and Gestapo were in their respective countries.

They serve no useful purpose but to terrorize the population and are of no use due to political correctness.

I noticed that too. I also noticed Bush saying things like "so the flying public "feels" safe", and I wondered about the difference between FEELING safe and BEING safe.
