FR has always been an enigma for me so be patient as this is explained.
When arriving here using this URL
http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/*/index
Once here, The command “FORUM” at the top of the page is hit.
This lists the combined threads of all forums in chronological order (assumption only)
As the page is scrolled, those threads which have not been seen and clicked are highlighted Once clicked they are shaded. Believe that settings on this computer and the site have in some way be set to show any new activity on a thread will once again cause the title to be highlighted as a new title might be.
At the time, this thread
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2826136/posts?page=188#188
was highlighted (not shaded) showing activity that had not yet been seen. Sorry, settings at FR (requested by this computer) at the time were unknown.
Others here more familiar with FR might give you more of the info you seek. BTW I use the Firefox browser, should that make any difference.
Hopefully this is much clearer than any judge attempting to twist his verdict by assuming a pretzel position.
Thanks for letting me know about this.
Hmmm... didn’t work for me. This thread didn’t show up at the top of the list. I must not be doing something properly.
