That’s a very interesting little article by Jim Geraghty. What better cover for the lies in DFMF than to have the disclaimer that anything in there could be made up! It’s so obvious that the entire book is a backstory - a fake life - made up - with a few little nuggets of fact thrown in merely for leavening.
Trusting anything in that book without other solid verification is worse than foolish. And using Mark’s say-so alone is just as foolish.
