Any towns you’d recommend? I’d especially like to find a place that’s not completely flat. Flat creeps me out.

The capitol, Bismarck, is a great N.D. city to live in. I lived there 7 years and left because my job took me elsewhere. It has rolling hills and the Missouri river running through it. Wonderful people and the climate is slightly warmer than the eastern part of N.D. Still cold but good weather about 8 months out of the year.

There are many smaller towns and cities if you really want to lay low or escape the onslaught of illegals. Many people who grew up in N.D. have left the state due to better job opportunities elsewhere. But now the oil boom has produced many high wage jobs. Agriculture is also doing well so the economy is doing very well. It has the lowest unemployment rate in the U.S.
