“Virtual seccession” of various sorts is probably the likely scenario. The fedgov can continue to announce edicts, that they can’t enforce, while the states do as they like.

No economy, no taxes to DC. Starve the beast. Maybe a silver lining.

If I had a 60’ schooner I might consider the South pacific, and probably center upon Australia/new Zealand.

If I knew more people and certain contacts or some “skills” I might consider the Caribbean, sometimes fiction speaks for reality I think.

Sorry I just bought a kindle touch and I’m totally blown away reading a certain book...

Yes, I see it that way as well. If the president and/or congress pushes to use military force against our own people to force compliance with unconstitutional mandates, the military will not comply.

National Guards will defend their states. This is really a cultural, societal matter. In spite of liberal efforts to destroy the military with their social nonsense, the military is fundamentally conservative, overwhelmingly made up of patriots.
