In that case, then Obama would be better then Romney as well.
Perry is the only alternative left, but he keeps tripping over his own feet.
Since Cain was the bottom of my acceptable list, with Perry and Gingrich below that mark, though still above Romney, if Cain does fail, then I revert to writing in a conservative.
...and his tongue.
As another Freeper posted a day or so ago: Rick Perry makes George W. Bush sound like William Jennings Bryan.
Why would we want someone that keeps tripping over his feet?

Actually no, because Romney is nowhere near as slick and persuasive as Newt. He is just as socialist for sure, but getting his agenda across wouldn’t be as easy for Mitt.
Newt knows the ropes in congress like nobody else. He successfully blunted the GOP majority in the ‘90s, and actually increased funding for all of the socialist elements of government. He conned the public into believing the budget had been balanced, even though he had cleverly disguised the fact that the debt service, which was almost as large as the budget, had been hidden in more debt.
Do you really think Mitt could have pulled all that off?
They’re both toxic, because neither of them wants to repeal O care, and the power of that issue is the best weapon we have.
We need a real republican.
You are very high. Either Newt or Romney will be better than Obama. Would there be problems and flip flops? Sure. But Obama has been a disaster, the worst president in my lifetime, as bad a Jimmy Carter.
