“Cain didn’t PERSONALLY donate any money.”

You say this with such certainty one would think you were personally there when he didn’t do it.

But you do raise a fair question. A 527 is a legal shield that can nevertheless be a conduit for large personal donations, especially those associated with a pac principal like Cain. The language from news articles of the time strongly suggest Cain was acting jointly with the pac. One example here:

http://www.mmdnewswire.com/cain-leads-effort-to-bring-conservative-message-to-african-american-and-latino-voters-in-ohio-642.html

Nevertheless, you (and some Ron Paul people) have questioned whether and how much money actually came from Cain. If you don’t mind waiting a while, I will try to dig that out. I have a call in to the Americas Pac and have some other avenues I can pursue as well.

However, you must realize I can take your “certainty” no more seriously than anyone else’s, without hard evidence one way or the other. Until then, I will go with the sense of the news given at the time. You should google it. Lefties were hammering him for it as recently as this October, and no denial from the campaign:

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/cain-spent-1-million-run-racist-snuff-my-own-seed-ads

BTW, it also seems he personally involved himself in the ads themselves, making himself a voice to the black community.

So while yes, details matter, they don’t matter in the way you want them to. You want to discredit Cain on abortion because it is a wedge issue that will cost him votes if people like you are believed. Perhaps you think this will help your candidate. The reality is, it doesn’t help any GOP candidate, and it surely doesn’t help the prolife cause, to be casting aspersions on Cain’s serious and obvious desire to stop genocide, whether black or otherwise. There is no perfect candidate, and Mr. Cain no doubt has his foibles, as we all do. But this is not one of them, IMHO. If I find out different, I will let you know.

Peace,

SR

Don’t you think his answers.

I will look at problems, get advice etc etc etc ad museum, rather than give an actual viewpoint is getting a little old?

I don’t care how much he did or didn’t give.

He refuses to support Fetal Pain Leg. That would pretty much end abortion. So he is not serious about the issue.IMO
