Fox News: Gov. Palin to Reveal 2012 Pick on Greta Tonight
Palin Promotions ^ | 11/15/2011 | Ron Devito

Gov. Palin tonight will reveal on Greta Van Susteren's On the Record which declared candidate she believes has the best chance of beating Obama in 2012, according to promotional language on Fox News' home page and in a promo video.

Ed. Note:

If the foregoing is true, we can reasonably conclude that all reconsideration, "earthquake" and other such efforts should cease. Further, this pick may or may not constitute an official Palin endorsement of a declared candidate.

It worked as a ploy to get many others to watch it.

And the same will work with this tease.

There are many, many people who still hang on her every word. Fox will exploit that for as long as it lasts.

Isn’t she already on Fox News as a contributor? I guess maybe they get paid by the segment but you think she’s that hard up she would make a couple of paid speeches. Or agree to go on DWTS? LOL I bet she would do a lot better dancing and be a darn sight easier on the eyes than Nancy Grace! LOL....

It's gonna be Rick Perry, no doubt in my mind.

Might even be Perry/Palin after all, as I've long predicted.

I didn't think Sarah would endorse anyone so early.
It does seem unlikely.

I bet she hedges her bet and says nothing definite until after a few early states.

She will endorse Romney.

If she does, it would be a huge understatement to say that I'd be disappointed in her. I could live with any "pick" from her other than Romney or Paul (or Johnson). I could lve with Cain, Newt, Bachmann, or Santorum. Some better than others but I cpould live with any of these. If she endorses Romney, I'll need meds.

I heard Fox specifically describe this as being about Sarah’s “pick,” their word choice, on a commercial that ran last night during the interview with Mrs. Cain. The headline on this thread comes from Palin Promotions, who is apparently just going along with what Fox had put out there last night. Ron says he got the tip from a FB page, Sarah Palin News, that clearly shows others, about 10 hours ago, saw the same promo I did, using the “pick” word. So if there is a misimpression, Fox started it. Just sayin’ ...

I think Palin may endorse Cain, simply because of the timing of the announcement.

Cain was rolling along in the polls two weeks ago. His numbers were on the rise, and he didn’t appear to have a whole lot in his way.

Since that time, we’ve seen the MSM (and others) trashing his character — seemingly with opportunistic, dishonest people doing the trashing. As a result, Cain’s numbers have begun to drop.

If S. Palin favors Cain as a candidate, she may feel that his candidacy could the boost that her endorsement may bring. If she waits, and Cain’s numbers drop too far, it may be too late to save him.

JMHO...

I agree... and fox is a lying bunch of progressives and this story will be walked back 180 degrees after tonight's show. I have read enough side show barkerisms to see that this is nothing more than a ploy to increase Greta’s viewership tonight. fox... only the best of the worst.

I don’t think she will endorse Romney but I wouldn’t be surprised if she says he’s the one who can beat obama. And that is an endorsement without being an endorsement.

I wonder what the Palin brigade will say if that happens. When she went out and campaigned hard for M.C. Cain she lost me as a supporter.

“This is a WRONG move by Palin IMHO. She should stay out of this unless she’s willing to throw her hat into the ring and declare her candidacy. This has the potential of harming the GOP.”

Very much agree. She should at least wait.
Sarah; are you listening?

None of the candidates are that strong; one of these guys could implode after her pick for some reason.

She should stay out of this

She has as much of a right to state her opinions as Bill O'Reily, Ann Coulter, and others.

She certainly does... but then those people are not looking to a future in elected office... perhaps the office of President. That requires more savvy than being a celebrity pundit.

1. This is a big deal.

2. I’m a big fan of (future) President Palin.

3. If this is an endorsement, I wish she would have waited, unless she’s going to encourage everyone else who is not Mitt to drop out. If this is mere election analysis, I don’t particularly care about her thoughts.

Has Sarah Palin publically stated her intentions to run for elected office?

Palin supposedly has a 3 year, million dollar a year, contract with Fox News - which doesn’t end until sometime in 2012. There was talk of it when it was thought she would run for President and have to quit Fox News.
