Via Business Insider. A few choice quotes. Larry Sabato:
To my memory, Perrys forgetfulness is the most devastating moment of any modern primary debate.
Rich Lowry:
That might be the most uncomfortable moment Ive ever witnessed in presidential politics.

Update: CNN, live in the spin room: Im sure glad I had my boots on because I sure stepped in it out there.
Update: WaPos Aaron Blake tweets: Top Perry fundraiser to me: Perry campaign is over. Time for him to go home and refocus on being Gov of TX.

"All I know is, before the debate I said two simple intense prayers. One, that Herman Cain be at peace and strong and forceful. And secondly, that if anyone else up there with him or his staff, started the terrible smear on Herman Cain as an unfair dirty trick, that the Lord in His justice would confound and tongue-tie such a person as punishment. Any one else say this kind of prayer?"
Republican primary voters do.
Perry won't last the month. I won't be surprised if the plug is pulled this week.
Perry will be long gone before the vote happens.
He will go back to Texas to administer his open border and in-state tuition programs for illegals.
I used to love the newspaper with my coffee in the morning. The way the paper and ink smelled, how it made that crinkling noise when I turned the page and of course the news.
I haven’t spent a dime on one since the time Clinton was impeached and the media so lovingly supported him. Thank goodness Rush came along and then the internet.
The majority of Americans simply get there news elsewhere is all I’m saying. :)
The debate is -is he out now because he forgot something.((((Hugs))))
Care to translate?
I'll take a stab: Are you saying that GOP primary voters prefer print to internet? And that Romney will triumph?
If that's what you're saying (and I have no idea), you're wrong on both counts.
The debate is -is he out now because he forgot something.((((Hugs))))
No, he’s out because he’s got about 6% support.
And please don’t sexual harrass me with your “hugs”.
How dare you put words down that I did not type.If you vote when you go into vote you are handed literature .
So now who should a good conservative support?
Palin — gone
Perry — done
Cain/Bachmann?
LOL!!! And I agree!
“In before Cincinnatus Wife comes to the rescue.”
Yea, posting a couple dozen glossies of Perry, his airplane, and his family will save him...LOL.
I meant no offense. I was trying, as I clearly said, to understand what you meant.
Sorry, but I don't know what "If you vote when you go into vote you are handed literature" means, either.
Not in those exact words, but yes...
“Perrys campaign has been one facepalm moment after another. Theres a certain devoted FReeper gal, however, that will post some stories early tomorrow morning and tell us why were all wrong.”
I think her shift starts at 0400 (Central). I usually wake up an hour or two later and start neutralizing her work.
“The average person does not watch these debates or read Drudge.”
If that were true, Perry wouldn’t have sunk like a rock for the ‘heartless’ comment. This stuff does get around...for better or for worse.
LOL, made me think of this...
"Mornin' Ralph......Mornin' Sam."
