Someone should have suggested eliminating the VA. He probably would have loved the idea.
He is in no way qualified to be president of the US.

I was excited when Perry first announced, but he clearly is not POTUS material. He throws red meat out there, but there’s nothing there to back it up.....as they say, “All hat and no cattle.”

Everything will end everyone’s campaign.
The only one who is inevitable is Obama.

I would rather have Sarah. Or Cain. But I would pull the lever for Gov. Goodhair.
At least he's got balls enough to shoot a coyote when out jogging with his dog.
As for qualifications, breathing and over 35 seems to be the qualifications de jure. (see our current occupant of the office)
Does anyone else notice how annoying and pointless the feral gooberment is these days?

Since he hasn’t been that sharp during the whole process, his senior moment may have a bigger negative impact than it otherwise should have. Its Newt or Mitt.

Yes, because debates under the lights are a much better indicator than running a state for a decade.

Bump in the road?
Think of the episode of the simpsons when homer tried to jump Springfield gorge. (In the series not the movie)

Not a big Perry fan - but c’mon - everyone has a brain cramp now and then. I would still vote for ANY of those candidates over Barry the Kenyan - even the crazy uncle Ron Paul.Gingrich is by far the sharpest knife in the drawer and would eviscerate TOTUS Obamao in a debate.

Perry gets that scattered thinking late in debates that reminds me of nicotine withdrawal.

Non-event and anyone who claims it as proof of him not being an able candidate is a hypocrite beyond belief. Who has not had one of those oops moments when something you have discussed over and over again simply escapes you for a moment?
I think he recovered from it when he answered the next question and receive laughter--everyone, including him, enjoyed the joke on him. To be sure, the MSM and the Perry-haters will jump on it and blow it out of all proportion, but it was really nothing and no fair minded--objective observer--will even care about it.
It may damage him because the play it will get in the MSM, but it was nothing.

it was painful for anyone to watch. You know it won’t matter what he said before (where he did quite a bit better) or after - it’s the vaporlock clip that will have a million views on Youtube.
To his credit, Gov. Perry didn’t grumble “aw sh!t!” like I would have done...
