All who served honorably deserve respect and gratitude.
11 November will always be Armistice Day to me, so as to not lose sight of the history of the largely forgotten Great War that sprang from the heights of unwise, callous and infirm leadership, was absolutely devastating in human cost and was ultimately one of the most predictable precursors to the next world war.
By referring to it always as Armistice Day I hope to perhaps have even the tiniest effect of provoking prudent thought.
