That wasn’t Perry’s pastor. You do realize that First Baptist DALLAS is a long way from the Methodist Church in Austin in more ways than one.

Concerned Women of America has a right to question Cain about the issue of the charges of Sexual Assault. It is a big deal for most women. Being asked to clarify and explain yourself is not a hit piece. It’s called vetting. THe fact is there are things that are just now being found out about Cain’s past and we the people deserve to know all about it.

Oh guess what was just posted in the Washington Times? Cain voted for Clinton.

When a pastor introduces someone at a
political event, it appears as if he is his pastor.

I have no problem with vetting any candidate and I’m glad that this information about Cain was revealed.

We need to know it.

OTOH, what we know about it should be the end of the matter. Complaints were made. They were investigated and found unsubstantiated. The women were given a payoff to shut up and go away. This happens EVERY DAY in the workplace.

I have posted a link to an excellent article on this upthread.

The upshot is that it is just cheaper and less disruptive to get rid of the person than to fight even blatantly false/stupid allegations. We have to understand how Leftist policies have distorted the workplace and how the Left uses these as political tools.

The cases, so to speak, were settled and closed. It’s ridiculous now to think anything useful can come out of trying to re-open those cases and have everybody try to yammer on about what they remember happening more than a decade ago. (Or perhaps they will even lie — who can refute them?)

Unless, of course, one’s goal is to try to take down Mr. Cain any way possible or, more broadly, to disappoint, discourage and distract the conservative base from their quest to beat Romney in the primaries.
