Fair enough, but I believe Perry has been fair to business.

I have met Victoria several times. Those are indeed her pictures. Why do you doubt that?

Herman Cain has great support, don’t sweat it. Nashville

I'd feel better if I could have a meat and three at Arnold's. Oh, wait was that sexual harassment? No, just food envy!

You COULD assume that YOU set the discussion rules, and everyone else must fall into the line you lined out, but you would be mistaken...

I’m a sixty-six years old Southern Gentleman. I know what a mealy mouth bully is when I read the drek like you posted. Are you drunk, or just this primitive? Do you think you’re adding anything to the room here at Freerepublic, when it is a gentleman who owns it yet you behave like a a little punk toward a Freeper Lady?

Herman Cain was Clinton's Campaign Manager

Not really his campaign manager, but the inconvenient truth is coming out about the unvetted Pizza dude, Mr Mamma Bear Cain, that he supported Bill Clinton in 1992.

If Cain was Rick Perry, that would mean that Cain was Clinton's campaign manager. But I digress.

Clearly, Cain's conversion didn't come until 1996 or so when he joined forced with The Great Jack Kemp. But still, Cain's transformation came at least five years after Perry's and 10 years in life after Perry's conversion.

If I hear the Al Gore smear again, and I am sure I will, just remember that Herman Cain lives in a glass house.

How can it be that the "only pure conservative in the GOP race" supported Bill Clinton?

Read about Cain supporting Clinton here.

I’m not wasting my time with an ignorant redneck. You are not interested in discussion but in venting your deep psychological problems. Try someone else.

It is actually quite believable that two women went after a powerful man (head of a prominent business industry organization) for monetary and possibly political (in a business sense) reasons. I don't know where you've been living, but in my working world for the last forty years I have seen MANY MANY women and men go after a superior just because they thought they could PROFIT from it. PROFIT = personal political capital, money, influence.

Are you so naive as to believe that this does not happen? I have personal knowledge of many instances of this exact kind of thing. I also personally know a woman who has consistently brought charges to see what she can get out of it... and the company always pays rather than go to court.

A man today working in a managerial capacity has to tread on very thin ice when it comes to the subject of so-called harassment or perceived harassment.

Let us ban everybody.

I think that Mr Cain has been given a pass on vetting.

We certainly know that Romney has gotten a pass.
Now that ahole John huntsman is trying to stir up some crap on Perry regarding the Oil Company’s.

And Fox is reporting him as drunk in NH

Cain needs to get some balls.

No use, mylife, those who have ears will listen but those whose minds are made up and don’t want to hear the truth will not.

It is absolutely pointless to explain anything to them, but thanks for trying.

Love to stay and chat, but it’s bedtime and I have a feeling there will be people to have a discussion with tomorrow.

>>>>>It's about time someone on Free Republic has the gonads to tell it like it is.

Well done, bullypulpit! You've offered some excellent pieces in recent weeks in support of Rick Perry and I appreciated them. Now you're taking on the insurgent candidacy of Herman Cain --- a true political neophyte if there ever was one. And that is my biggest concern with Cain. No governing or legislative record to judge him on and not much direct political experience to speak of. As far as I can tell, the Cain campaign is flying by the seat of its pants. Now that Cain sits atop the leader-board, he's finally getting the serious scrutiny that he deserves and has thus far not received.

I must admit having serious reservations about Gov Perry after his poor debate performances. But you're right about the anti-Perry opposition forces. They've been swift and relentless with their endless gratuitous attacks on the Texas Governor. Bunch of juvenile delinquents if you ask me.

Perry was wrong in signing the illegals bill long ago, he doubled down when he called critics heartless. His views (and record) on illegals and his pandering to their lobby has turned me off to him. He's also incoherent when he speaks away from a prepared speech (heck, sometimes he can't even do that).

I once thought he was an acceptable alternative to Palin, but simply find that a silly notion I had hoped for.
