Well, when the media has contacted many people (as this article mentions), you can bet they won't stop their investigation just because Cain said he vaguely remembers their names or that he is being unfairly attacked. That has never stopped the MSM from investigating Republicans and it won't stop them now, and I doubt Perry or even Mitt has anything to do with this.

The fact that Cain is rising in the polls is a threat and concern to Obama and the liberal elite MSM. They haven't stopped attacking Perry, either, though they do prefer Romney over the other candidates.

This could be trouble for Cain, no question. I’d keep a close eye on this one, and I wouldn’t be quick to defend a guy we hardly know. The folks that defended Arnold looked very foolish years later. Let’s not repeat those kind of mistakes.
