While Perry has some good qualities, he has shown himself to be a nanny-state governor, which is what LMSM and the GOP establishment, like.
A nanny state? Texas??? Now that borders ridiculous. No... that IS ridiculous. It would be hard to find a governor more committed to local government principles and non-government intervention, and that is so engrained and evident in Perry that it would definitely influence his presidency to a great extent.
Perhaps you might want to read Rick Perry’s book, “FED UP!”. In his book, Rick Perry details the vision of government as intended by the founding fathers and how to restore a Constitutionally-correct federal and state / local government for The United States of America. Good reading for those who appreciate less government intervention and who do not want federal government overreach reducing or destroying people’s lives and liberties.
Or maybe perhaps you just accidentally left the sarcasm key off that post. :)
