Why would this be a surprise? The Arab world HATED Kaddafi because he turned away from extremist Islam and made connections all over black Africa? He helped his neighbors and he brought in black workers.
Theoretically, all Muslims are equal. But in practical fact, the Arabs have been enslaving black Africans ever since the time of Mohammed.
The same thing went on in Sudan for decades, with very little response from politically correct American media.
That’s why Louis Farrakhan was so furious when Obama attacked Kaddafi, his former friend.
The press is perfectly well aware of all this, but as in Sudan, they are not about to say much about it.
