Romney came across way too slick - too much pre-packaging and too much time in the Fake Bake apparently.

This may come as a surprise to some, but Obama has taught some people a very valuable lesson that the person who says all the right things might be the worst choice for the job. Romney can deliver some coherent soundbytes, but who the hell cares?

Cain did well considering there was a nice size target on him. He needs to rein in some of the rhetoric and instead of just spouting 9-9-9, attack Romney on Healthcare and his socially liberal policies. Cain also needs a much stronger foreign policy message. This is where he’s going to sink or swim to the top. A revamped tax code is extremely appealing, but there are other serious issues... and calling Greenspan his favorite Fed Chairman was not a good choice. Better he should have said he didn’t like any of them, and here’s why...
