ANd just a clue.....ANYONE who readily claims to be a SEAL in everyday conversation, I can assure you, is NOT a SEAL!
For at least 5 years, this kind of false claim was a Felony —the Stolen Valor Act, or something.
However about 8 months ago the Supremes rules that such confabulation was simply a form of speach and as such, protected.
Sadly I think it also covers claims recording the MOH.
You can embarrass the living hell out of the guy, but I don’t think u can actually get him arrested anymore.
There were about 200 SEALs during the entire Viet Nam War. I've met about 650 of them.
unfortunately that law was shot down by the courts.
