I have lived here since 1966. I love it. One of the fastest growing cities in the state is Madison west of Huntsville. Schools are great in some areas but.not so good in others. There are all kinds of churches in all areas of this area. Shopping is good and a new shopping/living area has just been built in The Old Madison Pike area of the city. Housing is a lot cheaper than in other areas of the country. Al.com is a good link to what is going on here and other cities. You will love it. HSV is about 2 hours from B’ham and Nashville. Atlanta is not much further.
