As the temps turn frosty, it will be amusing to observe their “tent space sharing.”

But what will happen is this: they will maintain their protest sites, but with revolving shifts of dirtbags. Only a few will stay the cold nights. The rest will live in warmth elsewhere, then commute as day protestors. THis way, the encampments can become permanent features of the landscape, little shanty towns.
