If a GOP candidate won the presidency, and the GOP controlled both houses of Congress, would that be a good thing? That seems to be recipe for them lurching to the left, and the GOP is overall farther to the left now.

That seems to be recipe for them lurching to the left, and the GOP is overall farther to the left now. It's amazing the "best way to win is to lose" reasoning people can come up with sometimes. Yes, let's keep Dems and libs in power, just to make sure things don't move left.
