Hm, really?
How was it then?

I just imagine it’s an awful place, historical curios & such excepted, especially considering all the crap that comes out of there.

I worked a rotating shift and got lots of three and four days off in a row.
The Smithsonian alone is worth at least a day a week.
The Art, History,AirAndSpace, Zoo,etc then through in all the free concerts on like the 4th etc.
Then in the military I could go to like Pautexant navel airbase and go sailing for free.
Across the freeway from the pentagon was an old Marine supply depot I played tennis and used a huge pool for zero.
Rock creek, and a million old battle fields around,
There is an old canal on rock creek.
Visitors would come and u can’t believe the tours we gave.
Fun place but get out in time.
