jla – I don’t go along with the Gary Cooper comparison. Cooper DID portray some epic people – fictional and historic. High Noon was the quintessential man against all odds film. His portrayal of real life hero Alvin York was magnificent. In real life, Cooper was a staunch Republican, friend of Ernest Hemingway, and a proud anti-communist. He spent some of his early life helping on the family’s ranch in Montana. OK. All well and good. He also pressured Patricia Neal into getting an abortion of the child he fathered. Despicable, through and through. Todd Palin is the real deal. A man’s man. Moral, upstanding and stalwart. He stands beside Sarah as a man should do. You, on the other hand, cavalierly whine out your lib-dim BS without knowing a SHREAD about what you write. Get over yourself.
