your problem is sexism. My wife makes more money than I do right now (ER RN). But you know what ? that is the case with MANY families these days. If all I ever do in the coming years is work part time.. but be a good dad, take my girls out for ice cream when I can, get them into school in a few years and take a lead role in making sure they get an education, thats a great life right there. I wouldn’t trade being a good father for any major job in broadcasting.
And let’s not forget the fishing and hunting that provides the family with food.

You’re right. My wife makes almost twice as an Urgent Care RN than I do with my USMC retirement. Although I’m retired, I look after her elderly father on the days she’s working. There are different scenarios for different families and most people should mind their own business and attend to their own families.
