For the left to play the race card so early in the game, they must be terrified of Cain. With Obama tanking and the GOP looking stronger every day, racism is the only thing they have left.
No one is terrified of Cain but he is giving them a shot of the truth which cannot be allowed to stand.
Oh, they are.
Herman Cain represents an existential threat to them, and they know it. What they don't know is how to deal with it-thus the ridiculous race card.
Liberalism is a house of cards, underpinned tenuously by revisionist history and pretzel logic, up to recently held together by the politics of victimhood and group vote buying. Now that Obama has taken liberalism from feel-good bumper-sticker slogans to actual practice, the house is teetering.
Herman Cain is a black Republican who believes blacks can thrive if the liberal chains are unbound, and so the ground begins to shake.
