Yeah, I agree...this has been going on for years and frankly the term has lost its clout. Were there and actually are there racists...well yes, that would be correct. But one must distinguish between bias and racist. Once the dems went from accusing people of bias to the extreme of racist, the difference was blurred. I would venture a guess, more than 50% of the population is biased in same fashion but perhaps there are 1% or less real racists. Regardless, calling Cain racist is laughable.

One example, about 95% of black voters voted for Zero...are they all racist? No, my sense is many are biased in favor of him over the white guy but that does not mean they are racist.

The term racist has been so overused, it has lost its meaning. Racism was based on hatred. A racist hated someone based on nothing more than skin color or ethnicity.

Bias ( or prejudice) can describe two situations. The first is the natural tendency of people to be more comfortable with people “just like them. “ It is normal. It is human nature.

The second type of bias happens if that normal tendency is a factor in making choices, decisions, etc.. One does not hate, but believes a person different in color or ethnicity aren't quite up to the job for one reason or another.

The lines are blurred today. All one has to do is say or do something which offends and it is enough to be labeled a racist.
