I”m a girl (and no, I don’t *like* girls in that way!) but I always thought Bailey seemed like someone who would be a cool best friend. Whatever happened to Jan Smithers? I don’t recall ever seeing her on anything else. I guess it’s time to do a search and see. Anyway she was my favorite character on the show. Didn’t care for Loni Anderson’s character much. Maybe it was jealousy... ;)
Well, she did some small stuff in the 80s but is a nature lover and quit show biz and moved to Nova Scotia for some time.
I imagine the residuals from WKRP serve her needs, and she’s currently retired at 62 y.o. in Ojai, CA
