Gingrich won (why did he have to be so stupid with women?)

Perry was second: strong when needed, repentant when necessary, and stubborn at the right time. No doubt about it.

Cain was third and did very well.

Romney was bland.
Bachmann was on caffeine.
Santorum was busy using the pronoun “I”
Huntsman was talking to someone but I know I wasn’t the target audience.
Paul bounced between experienced statesman and mad scientist

Wolf Blitzer was ok, but clearly focused on Perry.

I wanted to support Perry. Having watched his performance in two debates, I’m embarrassed by his inarticulateness and superficiality on the issues. IMHO we need an articulate and reasoned advocate for conservatism. Perry doesn’t fit that bill.

Gingrich always sounds good, but he always does stupid stuff. Making the commercial sitting next to Pelosi on the climate change couch comes to mind.

>> Cain was third and did very well.

It would be nice if the media gave him more airtime.
