Don't be surprised if Jim Rob fumigates the joint in the next couple of weeks. Sorta like the great Rudy purge of 2008.

Perry stands for everything this site stands for. Pro-Family, Pro-guns, Pro-Life, Pro-Constitution. If Jim Rob purges the place of Perry supporters like me, then there will be few if any Freepers left.

A lot of Palin supporters are becoming the equivalent of Ron Paul supporters. I think Palin would be embarrassed by some the antics of the Palin supporters on this forum. I support Palin and if she runs in the Primary, she will get my vote. But right now Perry is running and she isn't. Right now, if nobody else jumps in that is better, Perry has my full support.

-"A lot of Palin supporters are becoming the equivalent of Ron Paul supporters."

Let me say something right now to everyone.

Rick Perry announced his candidacy to be President of the United States just measly a 15 DAYS ago.

Rick Perry said that just only 45 DAYS prior to that: "Being the president of the United States was not on my radar screen from the standpoint of something I wanted to do."

For some mystical reason that I cannot fathom, we are now just supposed just LAY DOWN, STAY QUIET, DON'T SAY A WORD, and just ACCEPT this candidate for President, without any even so much as pointing out HIS RECORD, or any RESEARCH on what this man has SAID or DONE on any of the important issues of today!

You know what I say to that?

GO TAKE A HIKE, AND STICK UP YOUR CAVERNOUS HOLE!

Um, Perry does not stand for everything this site stands for. Sorry to have to correct you. I can’t just let that go because it’s simply not true. FR has NEVER in all my years here been a place that welcomes pro-amnesty conservatives NOR open borders NOR candidates who sell legislation/votes/executive orders to the highest bidder. FR has never been a place where we excused candidates who are pro-U.N. either. FR is a property rights advocate also. So, NO, FR can support who they want, as it’s a free country (so far), but I have to correct factual errors when I see them. If FR has changed & any of those things are no longer true, please point to the FR mission statement that notes the change.

No, Palin isn’t “in” right now, which makes me want to support her more, but instead of jumping on a specific bandwagon while we wait, would our time not be better spent vetting ALL the candidates??? Hashing it out and let the cream rise to the top. If Perry is not what he claims, isn’t it better we find out NOW and put the pressure even more on Palin to jump in??

Gov-bean-counter wrote this about Scott Brown, liberal Rino from Massachusetts:

Has Steele been queried about the National Party’s failure to support this candidate?

It's OK to worry about a liberal Rino, but who cares if we destroy a pro-life, pro-God, pro-gun, pro-fiscal conservative when we're arguing in favor of our favorite conservative over another conservative.

I'm appalled at the ignorance of conservatives when it comes to doing research for their enemies. If Palin becomes president, do we think that she'll hate the idea of a Rick Perry as governor of Texas or as a future senator from Texas. Heck no, she won't hate it. She'll pray for it to happen, and then she'll cuss under her breath at all those near-sighted conservatives who intentionally injured conservative candidates.

And using humor in supporting Scott Brown after his naked picture in Cosmo, you said:

Lord I hope the Brown campaign doesn't have a similar picture of Croakley. I don't think I could stand it...

Honestly, gbc, I don't think I can take more conservatives destroying conservatives thinking they're supporting their favorite conservative, but they don't attack obvious rino's, but instead they support them.

You do not shoot people on your own side, but give covering fire to those against you.

It's how one wins wars.

Well said. My sentiments exactly.
