It’s a fair compromise that you suggest. I agree wholeheartedly that we’ve got to be honest about our people, but in the same way we’ve also got to look at their whole record and admit that they are our people.
Do they make mistakes? Of course, and some more than others.
Has Palin made mistakes? A few when governor of Alaska regarding fed money, iirc.

I love the vetting of my candidate but I have yet to decide who my candidate is. I just don’t like the constant repetition of disproved claims, especially after I have provided links to objective analysis of the issues. I am amazed by the smearing of Perry by Freepers who are constantly angry about the MSM doing the same to conservatives in general. The hypocrisy is stunning.
Several on that list I pinged are in fact Palin supporters and are posting from her PAC. The fact that many Palin supporters are so misleading in what they say I commented I doubted they were truly her supporters and may instead be trolls. That was not aimed at you. And no, I am not aware that she has questioned Perry’s spending but if you would give me a hint as to when and where she said it I will try to find it.
I think Sarah is terrific and she may very well be my choice when she gets in. When she does I will defend her against misinformation, also. I have on numerous occasions in the past and on those occasions I was just as critical of those who made the same old disproved accusations time and again.
I put your name at the end of that post on purpose. Much of what I said did not apply to you but I thought you needed to see the that much of the information being spread about Perry is misinformation.

Perry supporters would be banned from this site? Maybe I’m missing something but banning Perry supporters just because they support Perry, an awesome Gov of Texas seems like a really wacky thing to do.

Here in Texas, we have the Dallas Morning News, the Austin American Statesman, the alternative Austin Chronicle, the Houston Chronicle, the Texas Monthly, Texas Observer, and, now the Texas Tribune. TT is the online NPR/UT organ that just took money from George Soros to focus on Perry.
We also have the original truthers: Alex Jones, and all those Paulers and Medina supporters who tried to stage multiple coups at our Republican County/Senate District and State Conventions over the last 6 years.

I think Perry could probably beat Dear Leader easier but Palin is somewhat closer to my traditionalism....Perry sucked up Bachmann's bathwater...I was afraid of that.
what is most intriguing is what if..God forbid...Romney gets it...the whiplash will be sharper than 2000...or maybe not.
Palin posse here is convinced she will announce...in a few days...I feel less certain than I did 3-4 months back..maybe it is the Perry presence...I could be wrong
Perry to me is a right wing version of Bill Clinton..I can reluctantly live with that...he sure has the same enemies I dislike...the Bushes and establishment GOP...including Speaker
